I absolutely loved this duo written book by two authors whom I love! Wren has grown up with a drug dealer father but found solace in her best friend/foster brother Evan. Stone is Evan’s other best friend who was also jealous of the time Evan spent with Wren. So the two were always frenemies, until senior of high school, when she died something horribly life changing to Stone. After that he declared her as enemy number one. Fast forward to sophomore year of college when the two are forced to be roommates in the hockey house on campus. What could go wrong?
This was written so well! I read it in one day. Also loved the characters referenced from S. Massery’s hockey gods series. So, so good!
Tropes: enemies to lovers, brothers best friends, forced proximity, one bed, possessive/alpha/protector MMC, touch her and die, romantic suspense

It was good but there was something missing for me. The switch from hate to love went a little too easy and was too early in the book. But the pace and tte angst were good. Stones character was a little boring and I think the focus was mostly on wren and her backstory so we didn't get to know him enough.

I Had higher hopes fpr it but sadly I was disappointed.
I felt like I was thrown in the 2nd or 3rd or even 4th chapter instead of the first chapter and the 'hate' relationship felt unnatural especially with how he actually had a legitimate reason to do so yet it still felt so. Also theSA trauma shouldn't have been there, it didn't empact the story or the characters, there was barely any trauma left from it aside from the nightmares.
The way the MMC relationship withhis family especially his father was not explored properly annoyed me sm. Why would you even introduce it in the first place? And the worst thing of all is that the couple have no chemistry and no reason to fall in love and the way his demeanor changed just because she has a sad backstory -which he didn't know of it- is just dumb like really?
Pros: it's entertaining and really easy to read and the hockey team was fun to watch even though they made 0 sense]

This was a great book. I loved seeing the cameos and mentioned of the worlds from both authors. It is definitely enemies to lovers with hockey and some suspense thrown in.
that was a WILD ride. the end felt very rushed but overall it was an entertaining read, i liked the styles of both authors and they worked well together
