DNF 75 percent. There's no real chemistry between the two and I skimmed a lot but wow this series for the spice. Stopped reading because I didn't connect to the characters or the plot.

Cal...oh Cal...I cannot tell you how surprised I was by how much I loved Cal. And Aida as well. Cal ended up being the perfect book boyfriend. Being a woman of "a certain age" myself, I found I was really surprised though by how much I identified with Aida and her journey to find the sexual being still inside her. It resonated with me in a way that I am still thinking about now. She is a strong, powerful and successful woman who has lost something inside herself.

I've loved all the Alchemy books and have found something to love in every one of them. I think that says everything about Elodie Hart's writing style and what keeps me coming back to her books. 5 Star book!

Please know that I really did love this series but this book #4 just left me wanting some more. Callum is one of the owners of the club and from the description this dude is like s*x on a stick! He is a major playboy and takes full advantage of all the things that the club has to offer, EVERY NIGHT.

Aida is the FMC and she is 10 years older than Callum, divorced, and has two children. She wants to step into a new era by showing the world that women of a certain age can still own their sexuality and be sexual beings. And she does this by wanting to make it a documentary.

Callum is the man for the job to help her take those necessary steps into the now and show the world that she can be as sexy as a 20 year old. Butttt he starts to catch feelings. He wants to be around her all the time, and she needs a lot of convincing that he even really is attracted to her.

Their story was great but it seems that they hit their high note and after that it was a lot left to be desired. It did not stop me from reading the next one but it was just the experience that I had. Wanna know more? Read the book!
