Not as good as Gen’s story. I liked the characters and them being grown and mature. However Cal seemed to lack some depth

I have so many mixed feelings. I was disappointed in the book so much. I have loved this series a lot but this one just felt lacking in comparison to the first books. I felt Cal character could have been developed so much more. Like I love the loving, supportive boyfriend and him being a total himbo, and Aida being this badass power woman. But at the beginning of the book it set me the idea that Cal could be more than just a happy go lucky guy with lots of charm (which good for him) but also someone with insecurities and struggles (you know a human being) and I didn’t see that in this book, which is something that I felt missing and was disappointed.
