I read this novel for class. I think it was really insightful about interpersonal violence with the factual information and real stories told through the authors lens in a semi-narrative way, but I found it to be messy in the structure as it bounced around a lot. Overall, it was informative about the issue for my course but I would not have chosen it to read on my own.
