This is my first discworld book that I actually finished (though it's been a long time since I tried). I really liked Tiffany a lot. I really liked the kind of magic going on here. I'm definitely gonna read more of these!

This was entertaining and extremely imaginative. I really liked Tiffany as a character, and I thoroughly enjoyed the flashbacks to her grandmother, who was quite a character herself.

The one thing that prevented me from really getting into the book, though, is that it sometimes had a tendency to overdo the jokey bits, to the extent that I thought it rendered the jokes unfunny. I found myself tiring of the drawn-out nature of the jokes and eager to get back to the story itself.
