I was extremely into this book for a long time, even with the overplayed "the woman's on drugs for her mental illness, could she possibly actually be seeing what she thinks she's seeing?!" trope, which I really hate. But the soap opera-like twist at the end made the book worse instead of better. I seriously can't even believe thrillers are still using this twist, but there we have it.
I still think it's worth a read. It's definitely written in a way that'll keep you wanting to know what's going on, as more and more is revealed bit by bit. Go into it without knowing anything about it and it might even be more compelling.

Ideally I'd give this book 3.5 stars. I didn't dislike it, but it felt repetitive at times, and I just wanted it to be over after a while. I'm not sure how the ending was a big twist? Cause in the end it didn't really mean much. Meh.
