The story itself wasn’t bad, but the ending was very obvious early on in the book.
Well, this was a page turner, that's for sure. It came out of nowhere with a couple of late third act twists that were like "whoa!" but maybe not really earned? Mostly I felt like this was sort of a lazy thriller. The equivalent of a procedural tv show. But a damn entertaining one.
peter swanson always make me feel like I know the big twist and then I end up being SO wrong.
This story is messed up in all of the most entertaining ways. Hen and Llyod move into their new home and meet thier new neighbors. When Hen becomes convinced her new neighbor is a killer, no one will believe her because of her past issues.
Some of the ot points were predictable but it was a fun ride along the way.

Woah this book was so good. Matthew’s character was super interesting and I did not expect any of the twists. This was really well written and twisty and I kept wanting to pick it up. Definitely recommend.
