I am thrilled to be an ambassador for @๐ฏ๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ #๐๐ฅ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ Fall Reading Challenge. I received a copy of This is a lighthearted, fun rom-com with a unique twist. Hailey, a life coach who can glimpse the future, tries to sabotage her ex-boyfriend Liamโs wedding after having a vision of his unhappy future. Her mission leads to hilarious moments, especially when she clashes with Warren, Liamโs best man and her frenemy. The tension between Hailey and Warren had me rooting for them with every almost-kiss moment! I loved how both characters truly cared about the people around them, especially Warren's dedication to the kids he coaches. Haileyโs journey of questioning whether success equals happiness added depth to the story. Though the premise of meddling in her exโs love life was a bit frustrating, it was handled with humor. Ultimately, Haileyโs unexpected romance with Warren made this an entertaining, sweet read that left me smiling.

All Signs Point to Malibu is a quick and fun read with a great premise and a gorgeous cover. The story follows Hailey, a life coach with the ability to see into people's futures. She uses her gift to help guide people in the right direction and is determined to stop her exโs wedding after foreseeing an unhappy future for him.
One of the strongest aspects of the story was the romance between Hailey and Warren. Warren is Hailey's ex's best friend, and he's had some first-hand experience with Hailey's gift. Their enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity love story created just the right amount of sexual tension and chemistry. Although they can't stand each other at the start of the book, their chemistry definitely says the opposite. I enjoyed watching them struggle with their growing feelings for one another. Their complicated history, dating back to high school, added layers to their relationship, and they really pushed each other's buttons before finally giving in to their attraction. The chemistry between them felt natural, and their journey from animosity to love kept me hooked, especially with the added stakes of Haileyโs mission to stop her ex's wedding.
The balance of romance and magical realism with Haileyโs psychic abilities gave the story a unique twist that kept things interesting. I like how her personal growth intertwined with her powers. It added some depth to her character arc, which I liked becuase, initially, I didn't really love her. It took me a while to really get into the story, but once I did, I ended up enjoying it.
Thanks to Spark Point Studio for providing me with a copy of the book. All thoughts are my own.

Loved the premise (Hailey can see someone's future and thinks she needs to stop her ex-boyfriend Liam from getting married while planning his engagement party with Warren, Liam's best man and the person whose football career she ended with one of her visions).
Unfortunately the execution was not for me. The characters didn't behave in ways that felt believable, the changing POVs gave me whiplash, and I couldn't get past the white savior vibes of Warren with one of his football charges. I was also disappointed that LA/Malibu barely made a cameo in the book.

Thank you to Book Sparks, Canary Street Press, and the author for the free book. These opinions are my own.
Do you believe in following the signs?
Hailey has the ability to see a small glimpse into someone's future if she touches her lifeline to theirs. Using that skill and her own knowledge, she is a fabulously successful life coach. But she has made some enemies along the way by trying to prevent them from doing things that could be detrimental.
One such enemy is Warren Mitchell, her ex's best friend. And now the two of them need to work together to plan her ex's wedding. If that weren't troubling enough, she is concerned about the outcome of the wedding and wants to interfere.
I really appreciated the dual POVs for both Hailey and Warren. It sometimes took me a moment to realize whose POV I was in, but I caught the switches more quickly as the book continued. I really appreciated her life coach rules that started chapters from her POV. And I loved that she genuinely wanted to use her gift to help people, regardless of their wealth or circumstance.
As someone who use to live near to Malibu, I greatly appreciated how the tremors of an earthquake and its repercussions were addressed.
