insufferable, the main character is absolutely insufferable, this was a absolute chore to finish even by Audiobook with the wonderful Lauren Graham narrating.

This book was very heartwarming. I enjoyed the twist at the end and how it had a happy ending

I think the book had some good moments, and the ending kind of wrapped it together. I think I just didn’t like the main character and how she was handling things. The mother daughter relationship affecting a marriage just didn’t feel right, especially with what happened throughout the book. I think when I got 75% through I just wanted to get the book over with.

Very interesting premise but the execution was just ok. I also felt the love story was hard to get down with
because she was cheating and it’s not really assessed as cheating?

I struggled with this one. The premise of the story sounds great. But the way its written as if she is in love with her Mom like a romantic partner was odd.  She also treats Eric awful (which grief, I get). Just not for me I guess.
