4.5 ⭐️ The perfect beach and/or summer read! I’ve heard great things about EH books and wanted to start off with this standalone. With the Five Star Weekend, I love all the little details Elin puts in about the setting of Nantucket down to food etc. Even though there are a lot of characters and there’s a lot going on, I still really enjoyed it because every individual has a significance in Hollis life. The only thing that would’ve made this a 5 star read is Hollis’s reaction at the end about a specific person…. She’s a better person than me foreal.

The Five-Star Weekend was such a fun and emotional read! Imagine trying to heal from your husband’s death… by inviting his mistress to a weekend getaway with your closest friends 😳 Yeah, wild.

Hollis, a successful food blogger, brings together four women from different parts of her life for one big “healing” weekend in Nantucket. Of course, things don’t go smoothly. There’s drama, old wounds, secrets, and some real heartwarming moments too.

I loved the different personalities and how the friendships evolved (and exploded) over the weekend. Some parts were predictable, but I was still totally hooked. Perfect beach or weekend read if you’re into juicy women’s fiction with heart and a little mess.
