Lots of interesting food for thought! Wiest articulâtes what we might feel like and what we can do about that very well. I was always able to track along what they were saying. And the advice/instructions given do seem to be logical and doable ways to improve your life! Everyone self-sabotages in their own unique way. It’s important to continue to become aware and learn what to do different as we all change over time. I’d like to reread this book in a couple years or so-and I’d definitely recommend!
My first critique is that there are some parts in it (like compliments kind of) that I think are more included for the sake of marketing rather than for reflection purposes. And my second critique is that the author targeted this book for a certain audiences who have reached baseline (and exceeded them) necessities and who have privileges-which is their choice to pick who their audience. However, I’d be interested to see what this book would look like if directed towards the lower class, minority groups, ethnic/national groups, age groups, etc etc. I would still recommend a read though!
