Poorly written, too long, and I’m not going to start eating meat.

It is a book based on thorough research, and a lot of good points and insights to practice. Yet, everybody is different, and one just has to find out what is the best for him/her.

Loved the science-based background with a more open and alternative mindset toward healing. Eager to get started!

A great science-based approach to health and wellness. While I will not be going whole hog, I definitely found the diet and her specific reasons for each element very compelling. My one complaint is that I had to flip around to see food lists, etc. It would be nice to have everything in one place for easy reference.

Well written, well documented and extremely interesting - a must read for everyone with chronic health issues. Or everyone who works with conventional medicine and thinks diet and lifestyle is just a cute add on in treatment.

Really interesting book about how food made this doctor's MS much better. Dr. Wahls does a great job of explaining her protocol in scientific terms.

I am very glad that I read the Wahls Protocol Cooking for Life book first. This book is like most other introduction to a food plan books. Person is sick, person changed their diet and got better. As someone with RA I completely agree with this and am looking to include ideas from the Whals Protocol. However, it gets tedious reading the same format over and over. If this is the first book of that format that you have read it is good and has a number of interesting medical points. For the most part though I would recommend just reading Wahls Protocol Cooking for Life.

Great book, especially as it touches on Keto/Paleo principles. Will be implementing some of the guidelines.

More accessible and less stress-inducing than Amy Myers's "Autoimmune Solution" (which I recommend highly). Wahls's focus and personal experience is with MS but, as she says, all autoimmune conditions can be addressed with her protocols.
