Interesting perspective on ww2. It was interesting learning about the developments and goals in regards to aircrafts.

It was also really interesting learning about what happened in Japan and why they probably would have surrendered, even without the atom bombing. The goal was precision bombing, but it didn’t work out, and at the end of the day it was area bombing that ended the war.

More evidence that I love everything Malcolm Gladwell touches. I was curious about this one since it’s a completely different format than any of his other books - one single story rather than a series of stories/examples - AND the fact that it was about military history, but of course I loved it anyway. I wish all history books were written like this. Definitely read the audiobook for all of the interviews and clips.

It was an interesting listen, and I will think about war differently after reading it. That being said, it felt a little clunky and not as smoothly put together as I'd have appreciated.

I listened to the audiobook of this and enjoyed the snippets of original interviews with the people the author mentions.

An interesting look at Air Power in WWII. While I wish this were a deeper dive, the more was definitely a personal touch to the storytelling.

I really like what Malcolm Gladwell is starting to do with these podcast-esque audiobooks, but this one doesn’t give much more than the multi-part series on Revisionist History so I wouldn’t spend the time if you’ve heard that already, unless this topic is of particular interest to you.
