I’m intrigued with the love triangle. I’m also very curious about Jem’s situation (knowing what happens in the Mortal Instruments), a part of me wants to reread that series after this one for nostalgia but I’m not 100% sure yet…

Much better than the first book pacing wise; not that I like the characters more though. I like Jem the most; Tessa is the normal amount of stupid for the MC of these types of books I suppose but Will feels basically insufferable. I can’t for the life of me feel anything for him despite him likely being the ML

I'll be honest, I'm reading this for the romance. There's not a lot in the plot that is unique or different than other YA fantasies of the time. But Jem, Will and Tessa are such adorable characters and I love them all, so I enjoy this series!
