Wow the amount of pain. The last 100 pages was basically me trying not to cry and ruin my physical edition with my tears.

Fue un buen libro, muchas emociones... Realmente lo recomiendo
No tengo mucho más que decir.
El primer libro prometía mucho, y me pareció mucho mejor que los que habia leído de The Mortal Instruments, pero este libro se me ha hecho largo, pesado, y francamente insulso. Tessa no me gusta como protagonista, William me resulta más molesto que interesante... Por no hablar del estilo de escritura, que fancamente no es santo de mi devoción.
En fin, solo me queda un libro de esta serie, así que la terminaré y chimpúm. Pero no entiendo de dónde sale tanta alabanza.

Have you ever held off finishing a book because you know it will hurt? This was that book for me. I love will herondale so much and boy did he go through it. My heart ached for him. I don’t think I’ve loved a mmc this much. I would do anything for him. Okay let me say this I HATE love triangles but I cannot hate any characters in this love triangle. Jem is sweet but I feel like I’d like his character more if we would’ve gotten his pov. Also the love Jem and Will have for each other is so beautiful. I just know the next book will be tough for me. Wish me luck.

I forgot how much I adore Will Herondale. And this book is a sort of love letter to him, so I love this book by extension. It is so much more compelling than Clockwork Angel, in my opinion. Cassandra Clare is one of the only authors, along with Laini Taylor, who can write a sequel which is even better than the first book.
Also, this is the only valid love triangle. Tessa, Will, and Jem all love each other so much that it's heart-breaking. And I love all of them, too, so I'm suffering now. But it's a good kind of suffering, since this is a reread and I know how everything ends.
Anyway, I don't have too much to say, other than I love these characters, I love this world, and I love this series. And Cassandra Clare's writing is great. And The Infernal Devices is still, and always will be, superior to The Mortal Instruments. Argue with the wall.

Slow start
This took me a while to get into, but it picked up and I enjoyed it. It did seem somewhat of a filler book, but some important things happened and I enjoyed unravelling the characters more
