Yes, yes, yes!! Vivienne and Xavier’s story was so amazing! I loved it so much, I could not get enough! I love a good Grumpy meets Sunshine story.
When we first learned that Vivi bought a boat…ok yacht, I was like “hmm, I wonder how this is gonna work out”! Matthew being, well Matthew does not disappoint. He also bought a yacht, to go in the same marina as Vivi’s! Vivi is striking out, doing something for herself, apart from her family.
Xavier is an ex-NHL player who quit hockey and now lives on his yacht. He suffered from some horrible anxiety during his NHL season, but fell into a dark place when he had no one to help him find his way. Two years later, he keeps to himself, with just his dog and occasionally co-captain as company.
When Xavier’s new neighbor moves in, he tries to keep his distance, but is captivated. Working against him is his dog, who loves Vivi. When Xavier realizes that Vivi’s family is hockey royalty, he’s shocked. He’s so afraid of others opinions of him and why he quit, so afraid to speak his truths.
Vivi has also been keeping secrets from her family about her career and how successful she actually is, but when Xavier is brave enough to speak his truth, Vivi is finally able to speak hers.
When Xavier is presented with the possibility of NHL teams wanting to meet with him to interview, he has the chance to get back into the league, but that could mean leaving Vivi in New York, and Xavier doesn’t know if that’s the path he wants.
I adore these books. Seriously I think this with every book but I wish this was my family. I want Matthew or max to be my dad or uncle, I want to be surrounded with all these crazy loud siblings and cousins, plus their kids! I am obsessed with them, with all their stories, I love each one more then last! I think Dylan and Alex are still my favorite, but each book is incredible and I look forward to reading and rereading them all!
I am so excited for Tristan and Abigail’s story, I cannot wait!!

Those of us long time fans of Natasha’s have long been waiting for Vivienne to finally find her person. And the teaser in Made for Me was seriously amazing. Really all it took was for me to read the words, Vivienne and boat and I was immediately in. IMMEDIATELY. It also made me realize we didn’t know much about Vivienne, especially for being in so many of her siblings and cousins books. She is the friend that is there, but never really tells us much about herself. And friends, I am so happy she guarded herself, because she is so lovely. Vivienne wanted something, made it happen, and got herself a boat (errrr….I mean yacht!) to live on for the summer. From the start it was clear that Vivienne is driven and doesn’t let much stop her. And when she meets the man docked next to her she is so intrigued.
To say Xavier is closed off to the world is a giant understatement, but for good reason. It seemed that the world turned their back on him when he needed them the most. After leaving hockey he sort of goes into hiding. While Xavier might have a small circle of people that he cares about, let tell you this man is loyal but keeps himself guarded to protect himself. You will fall head over heels for this man in a matter of moments, he is really that great.
One of Natasha’s true gifts is she can write an amazing side character, and friends buckle up because Beatrice STEALS the show. She is the absolute best and will instantly become your favorite. I adored how the relationship between her and Xavier was written. The “dialogue” and rules they have made me laugh every.single.time it was brought up on page. I may have said this a time or two, but this book is probably my favorite Natasha Madison book to date. It has the perfect balance of giving us a beautiful book about two people finding their person, and giving us more of the Grant/Stone/Horton families that we all love. If you love a family series filled with overprotective fathers, brothers, and uncles along with strong women that put them in their place this book should definitely be on your TBR list.

And just like that I am left speechless but also with red eyes...
Second 5 star read of the year goes to Xavier & Vivienne.
What an emotional journey this book was, and it was unexpected. Very unexpected.
The emotions that slammed into my chest at that moment I understood Xavier on a whole different level. The harsh reality of the main topic in this book was astoundingly accurate.
If you have heard the words that he did, you get it. It isn't something you can just suck up. Even if you tried and succeeding in pushing it down, it will always come back.
These two are what every person needs that struggles with mental health.
Xavier & Vivienne are what each other needs not on just a physical level cause whoo that is there for sure! But these two have that emotional connection that solidifies the bond that grow between them, and when it is all laid bare. Just beautiful.
“I survived once. I’m not sure I can survive again.”
This book is one I will remember more than the others so far in this hockey world. I've been in those shoes and heard "just suck it up." or "It isn't real. It's just in your head." Those are the worst things to hear and make everything worse. So I get why he did what he did in the past, cause I did too. It's a tough road to walk alone but if you find someone who can help and center you, you can definitely overcome the hard days better.
If you have not read this series, I highly highly recommend it but start from all the way at the beginning and you will understand this book that much more.
I do have to say one last thing, Thank you Natasha. Just thank you, mental health is not something that is openly talked about as much as it should be for those who suffer in silence. The feeling of being alone and no one gets it or wants to help you, that's the hardest part of suffering with a mental illness. I hope this book reaches and helps just one person and gives them hope that you can overcome the hard days, you are not alone and you can do it.

I loved Vivienne & Xavier!
Xavier is a bit of a recluse after hanging up his skates. He was burned by those who should have stood behind him in his hour of need and so he now has major trust issues. Vivienne has secrets of her own in her profession. When she decides to buy a boat and live on it her bubbly personality are no match for the grump that is Xavier.
I love how open Xavier became with his mental illness and how hard he pushed to remove the stigma.
Vivienne was so well placed in his life to get him back out there. He in turn helped her find her place outside of her giant hockey family. With a cute dog in tow these two mesh so well together even though they are opposites. Great hockey romance story!

Made For You is the second book in Natasha Madison‘s new Made For series.
This book has been a rollercoaster of emotion. It features a hockey player who hung up his skates and the „hockey princess“. It focuses heavily on the mental health and struggles of a new hockey player.
I really enjoyed this book. It‘s so different from others I‘ve read and I loved how perfect Vivienne and Xavier are for eachother. They fit together so well and help eachother through their struggles especially Vivienne for Xavier.
I loved this book and I think it‘s save to say this one is my favorite so far in this series!

I truly adored Xavier and Vivienne so much! Grumpy/sunshine, especially when they grump is sure he wants nothing to do with the sunshine at all... but in fact, he becomes obsessed with her. Always my favorite!! And Xavier and Vivienne were that perfectly!
Vivienne has just purchased a new yacht to spend her summer on, and when she arrives at the dock she meets her neighbor and his very friendly dog. It takes a bit to actually get to know who this man is, as he makes it clear he is not interested in friends... but thanks to the pup, and the attraction neither of them can actually deny, his walls he has tried to erect slowly come down, and they become friends... and soon more. But as the truth comes out about why he has been living on his yacht, away from people, for a couple years comes to light - and he starts to open himself up to Vivienne and a life outside of the bubble he has created for himself - he begins to wonder if maybe things don't have to be what he has made them.
I loved the way Natasha Madison tackled the mental health struggles of Xavier - it was so real and raw and relatable. I loved seeing him slowly start to open up to others and realize that the experience he had had before does not have to be his experience going forward. I also loved seeing Vivienne, who is a woman who doesn't want to push or pry her way into peopl's lives, and someone who has always kind of kept to herself - including a BIG secret about who she really is - I loved seeing her start to open up not just her heart, but her life as well.
There was so much character growth for both Vivienne and Xavier throughout this story!
And holy moly - when they finally admit how they feel and give in... hellooooo spice. Xavier is one hotttttttt man, and I would love to float on a yacht with him ANYTIME!

I loved this book… I am a huge fan of Natasha’s book! Vivienne and Xavier’s story is so sweet. Vivienne comes from a family where everyone is up in everyone else’s business, but she is keeping a huge secret from them. Xavier happens to be her neighbor at the boat dock and man is he a grumpy guy! He is a former hockey player and he hung up his skates but no one knows why. Natasha brings mental health to the forefront of this book. There is emotion in this book, but there is also the craziness of the stone family and M&M at their antics!
