I loved this book… I am a huge fan of Natasha’s book! Vivienne and Xavier’s story is so sweet. Vivienne comes from a family where everyone is up in everyone else’s business, but she is keeping a huge secret from them. Xavier happens to be her neighbor at the boat dock and man is he a grumpy guy! He is a former hockey player and he hung up his skates but no one knows why. Natasha brings mental health to the forefront of this book. There is emotion in this book, but there is also the craziness of the stone family and M&M at their antics!

Emotionally charged and thoughtfully written, Made For You is an utterly beautiful romance, and I adored every bit of it, even the hard parts. When Xavier and Vivienne’s book begins, we find him as a bit of a recluse having left professional hockey and now living on a boat with his dog Beatrice and her just having bought a boat and moving in next door (next boat slip?) much to her father’s dismay. At the start, Xavier is every bit the grump, which obviously Vivienne finds off putting given that she’s just trying to be friendly. Eventually, things evolve between them, but how will they manage their new relationship while dealing with secrets that they’ve been keeping?

To say that I loved Xavier and Vivienne’s journey is an understatement. There’s a very sensitive subject dealt with in this book, and the way it’s written is done so incredibly well and with such care. I don’t want to give anything away, but there’s a gravity to the subject matter that lends depth to the storyline. There were moments in this book in between the lighthearted banter or the comedic force that is Vivienne’s family that I was absolutely moved.

And Xavier and Vivienne have such great chemistry, and seeing how they figure things out is total proof of how wonderfully made for each other they are. He’s such a crab, but then she’s lovely and yet not a pushover. I loved seeing how she simply wasn’t going to deal with his being rude and then how he reacted to that. Also, shout out to Beatrice for bringing them together in the first place and not letting Xavier continue to ignore everyone around him. She turned out to be one of my favorite characters of the whole book.

Made For You is precisely why Madison is hands down one of my favorite authors. There’s witty dialogue, tenderness between characters, and a sense of realness to the storyline that hooked me from the first chapter and didn’t ever let go. I promise you’re not going to want to miss this heartfelt and engaging romance.

Another emotional read by this author. Vivienne finally meets someone who catches her eye, even if it wasn't a positive encounter. Xavier wasn't looking to be friends. He just wanted to hide out on his boat with his dog as his only companion. Well, despite not being one to get all up in people's business, Vivi finds it hard to not want to know more about this mysterious grumpy neighbor. Both are drawn to each other, but keep their interest hidden behind the closed curtain (so to speak.) Eventually, they start to open up to one another. Her entire family is a legacy of its own, so many hockey greats through all the generations, and they all know each others secrets, except for the one she's keeping. He left the NHL on suspicious terms (suspicious to everyone except a handful of people.) He has some battles he's struggling to fight on his own. Her family's position with the club can either help him recover, or break him down. The characters are wonderfully written, and of course, we get all the side characters (all of her family) antics, and the loving support the Stone/Grant/Horton clan bring. While you can read this as a stand alone without issue, you'll appreciate all those side characters more if you've read their books. (Which are too many to list here, as this author has several spin off series feature the different generations.) The story is beautifully written. There are a few scenes that Kleenex's will be handy. There are several humorous moments as well (again, mostly with the extended family and their dynamics.) There is sexual content, that might be more suitable for mature readers. It alternates between POVs.

This book was definitely unexpected. I don’t think I was prepared for how emotional Vivienne and Xander’s story would be. Xander was so much more than a grumpy man on a boat. And Vivienne was hiding her own secrets. It made for some great chemistry and some overwhelming emotional moments.

Xander walked away from his dream job two years ago and has been working on finding peace on his boat in that time. The last thing he expected was the daughter of one of hockey’s greatest to buy the boat in the slip next to his. He was determined to keep his distance but it didn’t take long for Vivienne to slip right under his walls.

Vivienne grew up with an overbearing father and a family that was always in her business. She was living a secret life and had no intentions of revealing her success anytime soon. But then she bought a boat and met the grumpy Xander and his dog and things started to change.

One thing I loved about Vivienne and Xander was the way they told their truths. Once they got to know each other, they dropped their guards and found peace in revealing all their secrets to each other. I loved the way they supported each other. And I loved how tuned in Vivienne was to Xander’s feelings.

This was a great book about finding your home in someone when you least expect it. It tackled some hard topics, such as anxiety and attempted suicide, but it was written well and was inserted into the plot flawlessly. The Grant/Stone/Horton family once again proved why they are the best. I loved everything about the way they accepted and were willing to help Xander.

Loving this second book in this series. And this is a grumpy/sunshine with extra in the grumpy. We get to meet Xavier and Vivienne. Vivienne is wanting family time and rents a boat to get all of her family together. Xavier is the grumpy guy who’s the neighbor with the dog. Who doesn’t love a guy with a dog ?!? I loved how grumpy he was with her and even when things started to change. This had many steamy moments in it.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own
