Geez o petes this punched me right in the feels. This book was really, really good. More to come later. I need to get rid of these pesky things called emotions right now. Because emotions are ew. Nobody's got time for that!

I stayed up way past my bedtime reading this. I couldn't put it down. Of course it was amazing, I expected nothing less as this is the last in the series for me (I read them out of order).

While it's a series, they are all stand alones.

Maggie will make you laugh and then make you cry. CRY HARD. Brooks will make you mad, make you laugh, make you cry, and make your heart sing for this boy turned amazing man.

I forgot how much I loved these books. Actually that's not true, I will always know I love these.

The audio version is amazing.

A friend recommended me this book and wow. Wow. Holy shit. I feel like I’ve been broken apart and pieced back together. I’m dizzy. The emotional journey of this book is amazing and I’ve smiled and cried and burned with a heartache that will keep this book in my memory forever.
Life, love, patience and growth, all with a much needed dose of pain and reality. This book was perfect.

This is the story of a girl, silenced by a traumatic experience, who takes back her voice, aided by someone who will prove to be one of the best male LI I have ever read about. Loyal, fierce and interesting on his own.

This book goes full circle on everything, and the author gives so much meaning and thought to every single word, memory and promise shared by all characters that when they come back, it’s like a hug to the soul.

Beautiful and emotional. Everyone needs to read this book.

Oh mon Dieu ! J’ai pleuré ma vie mais ce livre est excellent. Je le recommande fortement mais avec mouchoirs à porté de main.

The Silent Waters is the third book in The Elements Series.
I had big expectations going into this book, because I loved the other two I read. But I felt a little bit disappointed.

This story is about Meggie and about Brooks. They are neighbors and childhood friends. Meggie experiences a traumatic event when she was a child that marks her forever. She loses her ability to talk and becomes mute. I felt so much for her and her struggles, but I thought sometimes it was a little bit unrealistic. I just didn’t believe how she recovered from it and how everything felt rushed at the end of the book.

Brooks is an amazing book boyfriend. He is kind, beautiful and really patient with Maggie. He really respects her and I love to read about that. He also went to a dark time in his life, but together with Maggie he gets trough that.

Meggie and Brooks are characters who belong together. I not only liked the romantic relationship, but also the family relationships. Especially between Maggie, her father and Cheryl. It felt real and beautiful.

Even though I liked the characters I felt like this story was a little bit slow at times. I got a little bit bored because of that.

Wow is all I can say. Review coming soon.

3.5 Stars

I’m not even sure I can describe how I felt during this book. I was in a reading slump and this book pulled me out immediately. Page 1 and I was obsessed! This is my first time reading this author and I can’t believe I’ve gone without reading any of her books for so long. I finished this in 2.5 hours. I could not stop. I felt so many things during this book.

* Worried

Brooks is the definition of a sweetheart. I can’t even fathom his dedication to Maggie from such a young age. I mean he was gonna marry her at 10 years old.

I already want to reread it
