I am kind of glad this series is over. It was not horrible, but it was not amazing either. And come on
Spoiler really who did not know Jake was not the father...we knew that at the end of the last book...I can not believe it took so long to come out
. The book does show how finicky relationships can be in high school and shows a little bit about forgiveness and understanding of peoples predicaments. It also showed how quick (one derision) can change an entire life. I feel that some of the story lines where cut short and some where held on to, too long, but overall not a bad book or series.

I am in a glass case of emotions.

I can’t believe this series has ended. I love these books because Ally is such a great main character and the twists and turns are shocking. It may seem that these books are just fluff and garbage because it’s about rich kids and lots of drama, but they aren’t...kinda.

This Is So Not Happening starts out where He’s So Not Worth It ends. Chloe is pregnant. And Jake is the father. Poor Ally, she stuck threw all this shit with Jake and he can’t act like a decent boyfriend. It’s so frustrating how he acts! He is so immature and definitely does NOT deserve Ally. I don’t even know what to feel. One moment, they are perfect for each other, and the next their fighting.

Their fighting is so fucking frustrating.

BREAK UP ALREADY.

YOU, JAKE, ARE A ASSHOLE. AND ALLY WHY ARE YOU GOING BACK TO THAT ASSHOLE!?

SERIOUSLY. I'M SO ANGRY. I just can't even.

Okay, I loved She's so Dead to Us because their relationship was actually good and didn't make me want to bang my head against a wall but here in This is So Not Happening is making me hate their relationship. It's all Jake's fault. I just don't have the tolerance for stupid people and their bullshit. And I just don't understand why Ally would go back to Jake. Seriously?

Okay, so like everybody else, I did not believe this was Jake's baby. Let's not forget about Will and his late nights at Chloe's house. But it was still a interesting read. I was so glad when Ally and Jake broke up because it is not right when Jake kept on being mean and cruel to Chloe when he found out the baby isn't his. He wanted so badly for the baby to be his and he didn't even hide this from Ally. At least try to fake it and not flaunt it in your girlfriends face.

I just hate Jake but love this book.

I did not want Ally and Jake together but at the same time I did. It's very frustrating how this book is leaving me. I hate it but love it. I'm sad to see these books end. At least they ended on a good note, with a happy ending for all.

I spend a lot of time reading difficult issue books. They’re kind of my thing, but after reading them back to back things can seem a little somber. I was thrilled my library finally got a copy of This is So Not Happening, the last book in the He’s So/She’s So series because this final book was sure to fulfill my need for drama and craziness.

Ally and Jake have finally become an official couple. They can look forward to normalcy and enjoying their senior year together. Or so they think. Ally is thrown a curveball when her ex-best friend Chloe announces that she’s pregnant with Jake’s baby. Chloe and Jake slept together before he and Ally became an official couple. What does that mean for Ally?

She tries to do the right thing and be the supportive and understanding girlfriend who doesn’t go crazy. She stands up for Chloe when things at school get bad for her. (What high school students wouldn’t feast on the news of the popularity heiress getting pregnant?) She sticks by Jake’s side and doesn’t give up on their relationship (even when it seems Chloe takes her place as he suddenly has doctor’s appointments to attend all the time). Ally is stuck in an awkward position because she will most likely lose her friends if she and Jake break up and she can’t talk to her mom about things because she’s too preoccupied planning her wedding to notice something is bothering Ally. She’s left to figure things out on her own.

Though Jake never betrayed Ally, I feel like I would have done more investigating and probing than Ally did. Something just never seemed to add up (and for those of you who read He’s So Not Worth It, you will have strong suspicions). Jake seemed like a pawn in the chess game of Chloe’s life – he was at her beck and call and did absolutely everything she asked. It was really difficult for me to have outsider information and not be allowed to talk sense into the characters.

Jake was the character I struggled with the most. He did the honorable thing and really did everything he could for Chloe, but he became a mean, cold-shouldered boyfriend to Ally. At the climax of the story, I didn’t want Ally to date Jake. I hoped that maybe she would go to college a single lady and she and Jake’s story would finally have a bit of closure. I wish I could say that his character was fully redeemed for me by the end, but his actions were just … actions…without a lot of heart behind them.

While there were a few other things I would have liked to have seen (as in maybe a few chapters from Chloe’s POV to understand her character a bit more, more focus on Ally’s mom’s remarriage, and some of the spunkiness provided by Ally’s best friend Annie we saw in book number two), I did enjoy the nostalgia that crept up as Ally applied to colleges and prepared to move on after graduation. I loved seeing the characters mature and ready themselves for their next stage of life.

This is So Not Happening was definitely full of drama and an easy-breezy read; Scott does a great job exploring the difficult topic of teen pregnancy without making the topic feel overwhelming. If you’re like me and you like “issue” books, definitely give this one (actually, the whole series) a try if you need something a little more light-hearted than normal.

I could not believe that the series was already over! The ending was satisfying to me, and while I kind of expected it to happen, I still enjoyed the ride getting there. An amazing series, one of the best I've read.

This Is So Not Happening is the third and final book in the He's So/She's So trilogy by Kieran Scott. While I truly loved She's So Dead To Us and He's So Not Worth It, I found This Is So Not Happening to be rather lackluster.

The characters are in their senior year of high school and honestly they acted worse than they did in the first book. They didn't grow at all throughout the course of the trilogy. They were immature, petty, mean, and jealous. All they cared about was popularity and they were willing to do anything for it. I felt that the only one who was actually a good person was Ally and she was like that from the start. Then there was Jake. Gullible, naive, rather stupid Jake. Don't get me wrong, I totally crushed on the guy but sometimes I wanted to slap him for his stupidity. Luckily towards the end of the book he definitely started to shape up and I started to see the guy from the first book that I really loved.

The story was just plain crazy but it actually turned out to be a little predictable. The ending of the last book was a major cliffhanger and it was the perfect lead in to this final book. Chloe is pregnant and she claims the baby is Jake's. Jake takes responsibility and is willing to help Chloe take care of the baby. Through all this Ally decides to stick with Jake since he hooked up with Chloe when they were broken up. (Props to Ally for that.) However, Chloe really starts to take advantage of Jake throughout her pregnancy and Ally starts to get fed up. Drama ensues, making for quite a few laughs and lots of shocking (or not so shocking) reveals.

I will give this book one thing: it's impossible to put down. I truly grew to love all the characters throughout the course of the trilogy and I wanted to know how things would end for them. I admit, the ending was a little too perfect but I was left with a smile on my face which is really all I wanted from this trilogy.

Overall, This Is So Not Happening will please fans of this trilogy. Everything is tied up nice and neat and readers won't be left questioning anything. I consider it the perfect ending.
