All the emotions!
This on had me smiling and giggling for darn near half the book. I really connected to the relationship of the MCs. Then bam... Fear, Anger, Heartache... I enjoyed this book it had a good balance. Not for safe readers it does have potential triggers.

Okay, officially my favorite book from Heard. I love Christopher and Dash's unrelenting friendship. They have been best friends since they were little. The beginning opens up with Dash being hurt by her then-boyfriend, Josh. Christopher consoles her and it sets the tone that Dash will choose Christopher over anything that threatens to jeopardize that. Christopher and Dash promised each other when they were younger that they wouldn't enter a relationship with each other but once Dash makes up her mind to find a donor for a baby, Christopher offers himself up.

Christopher and Dash have amazing chemistry and it is nice to see the heirs outside of Trinity. Also, the explanation for how much Tristan's family knows about his illegal activities was finally explained and I WISH it had been brought up in his book. Anyway, Christopher and Dash enter a relationship, taking their status from best friends to boyfriend-girlfriend. I read this book so quickly because the second half of the book kept me on edge. Dash was kidnapped on her way to meet Christopher's mom and is kidnapped by Josh. Josh abuses her mentally and physically and it is heartbreaking to read her struggles. Josh is insane, he followed her for five years thinking that they were still in a relationship? Crazy. Also, when Tristan and Alexei help Christopher with capturing and then killing Josh is startling but well deserved. Josh definitely did not deserve to live. Christopher is supportive and consoles Dash when she panics and attempts to break away.

The recovery for any abuse seems to be quickened, a trend I have seen Heard use, but I am glad that Christopher and Dash end up happy together and get pregnant. I really enjoyed this book and felt that it was developed well in a standalone.

A fantastic friends to lovers book!
Dash and Christopher have been best friends since childhood.
Having dating relationships with others always end up in breakups.
No one wants to be second fiddle to either Dash or Christopher.
When Dash decides she isn’t going to wait for Mr. Right to have a baby.
But to use a sperm bank, well Christopher isn’t having it.
When they are discussing this in the book there is a comment Chris says that had me laughing out loud.
I loved how they discuss everything and don’t hide anything from one another.
That’s such a good thing between best friends.
And that’s what keeps a good marriage good.
So from here they start slowly into a more physical relationship.
It was natural and seamless because they already had a great foundation to build on.
I loved seeing their relationship grow more intimate and blossom so beautifully.
Just when I was comfortable and gushing of course in true Michelle Heard style she pulled the rug from under my feet.
Holy Smokes the author doesn’t just rock the boat.
She flips in upside down!
Just a great addition to this amazing series!
I loved getting to see the heirs grow from child to awesome adults ❤️

Oh gosh! Michelle is a very talented author. Love her ability to write amazing stories! Christopher and Dash’s love story was absolutely wonderful! I felt their connection and their pain. Dash’s insecurities were exposed in a heart wrenching way, but Christopher was there to help heal her. I loved their ending!

Omg what a book!! We're getting close to the final book in the Heir series and I know I'm going to miss these men and the women who love them. This is book 7 and finally Dash and Christopher. This book I don't think could've been more perfect granted there was some very dark moments and triggers to be wary of, but it's so worth the read. I can't wait to see who's next and the final story.

This second to the last book for the Heirs continues down the mature path that was set in the previous book. Heard's writing has been on par for each of the couples, and their age. These last few Heirs are the oldest, and Heard has upped the ante with more danger and intense circumstances.

Christopher and Dash have been the best of friends their whole lives. Each unlucky in love, but never willing to cross the line to see if the other could feel more than just friendship. Christopher finds his chance to claim the woman he has loved as his own, and Dash decides to take a chance.

However, as with all the Heirs, things don't always go smoothly. Christopher and Dash must deal with outside forces trying to keep them apart. This book continues with a darker tone than the previous book took us down with Tristan. I am sad to know that this is the second to last book, and can only imagine what Heard will give us in the last book of the Heirs.
