This should be required listening/reading for new parents! Beene breaks down 10 ways we can support our kids in becoming loving, compassionate, resilient people. Even starting early at age 2.

As with anything Brené Brown puts into the world, I loved it. It feels more like she is teaching a class then reading an audiobook but still full of great information.

I will listen to this one again. It’s a quick listen but with practical tips that anyone can implement with some purposeful attention.

Nothing mind-blowing, but there were a few good thought-provoking tidbits in there. The main idea is basically that it is important for parents to create a space for their children that is safe - A place where they are able to fail, be silly, and just be themselves. Parents need to model these behaviors in the home. I liked it! I just want to be intentional about being the best parent I can be to my little ones, and part of that is occasionally reading books about how I can do that. :)
