Hot. Sexy. Sweet. Fun.

A great start to the new Dirty Sexy series. We begin with Clay, the eldest Kincaid brother. He is the protector and affectionately nicknamed "The Saint" for all the strays he's helped. Now he's faced with the most unexpected stray of his life, Samantha. She's running away from her life so she can finally have the independence she needs. But leaving everything behind means she has nothing but the clothes she's wearing. Clay figures she'll get bored trying to work for a living and that he'll be strong enough to avoid her advances. Bet he's never been so happy to be proven wrong.
Can't wait to see what the rest of the brothers get up to.

Good read

These authors always provide a nice read. This one was not as dirty as the title. But it was sexy. And it had on no drama that was just right. A bit predictable but it is a sexy romance read. Not sure if I want to give it 3 or 4 stars. Because it's a very typical romance. But typical in the sense that it has every GOOD you would want in a romance. But it is short. And in a sense average. I will give it a four since the sex scenes and sexual tension was throughout the book.

Generic rich girl/bad boy story, one-dimensional characters, thin plot. About the best I can say for it is that the leads tried to resist their instant lust for as long as possible; but I was internally screaming for them not to sleep together yet, actually, because a) he had hired her as a waitress at his bar, making this an employer/employee romance, but that aspect of their relationship was never addressed; b) she was entirely dependent on him for money (first as charity, then as her job); and c) they hadn't actually developed any chemistry beyond that instant attraction.

How could I be convinced that the sex was romantic, when it seemed like she was paying him back for his generosity?

Rich Girl's luck in finding a "bad boy" this benevolent after running away from home was already stretching belief, but her constant insistence on learning to stand on her own feet was undercut by the fact that she was entirely living off the guy.
