This is a thrilling dark college romance that represents dark themes that may be sensitive to others. A story with an addicting intense chemistry between two characters, with lots of tension, and vile actions that were acted upon throughout the book.

The main character Glyndon is a college student that is an artist who struggles with mental illness. She is closed-off and guarded with her feelings and doesn’t share the burden she feels, she is compassionate and supportive with her love ones as well as being self-sufficient and creative with her work. The love interest Killian is a obsessed, manipulative, smart and cold person. He represses the need to kill and hurt people with his own gain, to maintain control of his mind. He likes to torment people just for fun as well being cold, ruthless and remorseless.

This has an amazing friend group despite the other friends being literally psychopaths. Friends who has great humor and witty-ass comebacks as well as the great dynamic of how they all fit in the friendship. They also have a fun and safe atmosphere regardless of the intensity and cruel conditions they’ve been. The other characters that were introduced with possible romance storylines made me intrigue of their stories and characters more.

To conclude, I was very hooked and addicted to this whole book despite me being surprised of how intense it is, in the beginning. Lastly, it definitely has a great buildup of the intention of the characters and how well thought of on how everything took place.

I hated every single character in this book. Truly did not like a single one of them. Not much happened plot wise, and I was like why am I even reading this. Yet I finished most of it in a day, and am now like hmm wonder if the second book is about Nicolai. I don’t know. Make of that what you will. It doesn’t make sense to me, but here I am. 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀: psychopath x good girl, boy obsessed, enemies to lovers, he falls first, dark romance, i hate everyone but her

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: non-con, dub-con, manipulation, suicidal thoughts, past trauma

HOLY SH*IT. This book is AMAZING!!

The tension and chemistry between Glyndon and Killian is delicious and the plot twist at the end of the book really took me by surprise.

When Rina said Killian was a real psychopath, I thought he wouldn't be crazier than Aiden and Cole, but he's far ahead of them 😳

I love Glyndon. She's so pure, and the relationship she has with her grandfather is really special, and I've enjoyed these scenes a lot

Now let’s talk about the other characters.

Ava Nash is very powerful and she does not care how possessive Eli is.

Cecily is sweet and seems innocent, but we know that these people are not really innocent 👀

Annika Volkov has a good soul and I can't wait to see what's going on between her and Creighton.

Landon and Eli are the hottest, besides Killian, so you can have him, but Landon and Eli are mine.

Brandon is a wonderful brother. The relationship she has with Glyndon is very special, and if I could, I would hug them both.

Creighton is very mysterious, silent, and I'm ready to know more about him.

Remi is hilarious, and he reminded me a lot of Ronan.

Now I want to re-read the Royal Elite series, but unfortunately I can’t because I don’t have enough time 😭

Rina has outdone herself. The book is dark, but full of emotion, tension and plot twists.

Thank you Valentine PR and Rina Kent for the opportunity to read this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.

So I didn’t realize it going into this, but this is obviously a spin off of some of the author’s previous works. Like, the second generation of characters from another series. Or two. Because of that, there were a few instances where I got the impression that we (the reader) were already supposed to know something. . .and I didn’t. Not that that’s any fault of the book, but I didn’t like not being “in the know”. Dark as it was, I liked the concept of Killian’s character and I thought his chapters were interesting. The only thing is, I felt like the pacing of the story was really fast. I wish there had been more time in the transition between hate/fear to love/trust. I also thought the mystery/conflict resolution was rushed. May or may not continue the series, or go back and read the ones that came before.
