YES!! YES! YES!!! I will never get over this book. This is my 3rd time re-reading it. VAUGHN SPENCER KILLS ME! After reading the first two books and learning about his character through other people's lenses, reading Vaughn's point of view and Lenora's point of view really hit home. I was surprised by how little the other major characters in the universe played a part in this book unlike the past two books. However, I do not mind this as the story was nearly all solely focused on Vaughn and Lenora. The art academia vibes of the second part of the book in England is my absolute favorite. I love mysterious and dark vibes given off. The book still hurts every time I read it. With all of the All Saints High series, you learn about how truly devastating experiences influences a person and is left unnoticed. Also, the angst and yearn between the two main characters is amazing. I love how Lenora grows into a stronger woman and how Vaughn slowly breaks down his barriers with her. I will for sure be once again reading this book. It truly does not disappoint. If I could, I would genuinely give the book a 10/5, but since I can't do that, I shall give it the one of the biggest 5/5's I've ever given.
Liked this one more than Broken Knight, but not as much as Pretty Reckless.
Dieses Buch ist der dritte Teil der ASH Reihe und hat Vaughn Spencer, den Sohn von Vicious und Emilia, und Leonora als Hauptfiguren. Die Geschichte wird auch aus der Sicht der beiden erzählt, aber wie schon in den vorherigen Teilen, bekommen auch Vicious und Emilia jeweils ein eigenes Kapitel.
Der Titel ist hier Programm. Vaughn musste in seiner Kindheit viel durchmachen und hat sich deswegen immer mehr in sich zurückgezogen und kann nichts mehr empfinden. Es war erschreckend zu sehen, dass selbst einem Jungen aus reichem und wohlbehütetem Elternhaus, der ein sehr gutes Verhältnis zu seinen Eltern hat, so etwas schreckliches passieren kann. Sowohl er und Leonora sind schon ziemlich abgefuckt, das merkt man auch an ihrer Beziehung. Und auch wenn manche Dinge, die sie so machen, nichts für mich wären, wurde das von LJ Shen super beschrieben, dass man jede Situation nachempfinden konnte und ich es nicht als abstoßend oder so empfunden habe. Besonders Vicious Kapitel ist mir am Ende sehr nahe gegangen und er hat sich wieder von seiner besten Seite gezeigt ;) Für seine Frau und seinen Sohn würde er einfach alles machen. Besonders den Satz „Leg deine Last auf meine Schultern“ fand ich sehr schön. Ich freue mich, dass sowohl Leonora als auch Vaughn am Ende ihren Frieden und ihr Glück gefunden haben und ihre eigene Zukunft starten können.

I finished it but only because I had nothing to lose. I kept hoping it would turn around but no. It wasn't awful but it wasn't engaging either.
This book will keep you on your toes and that's putting it mildly! Vaughn and Len meet as kicks and have an instant connection, however life is cruel and turn of events make them both toughen up and be cruel to survive. I promise the HEA is so worth it! there's a lot going on from beginning to end, but it's worth ever word to read!
Blown away
This book is beyond what I thought it was going to be. I have read the other two in this spin off and to be honest I have loved this heartless and mysterious man named Vaughn since the beginning. To read his story and have him get his HEA is the best feeling. Loved the story and the characters.

La historia no me ha gustado. No me ha terminado de convencer Vaugh, ni Lenora, ni cómo se desarrolla la historia ni nada del 75% del libro prácticamente. Lo único que me ha gustado y convencido ha sido el tramo final del libro, porque creo que es de verdad el punto interesante y de inflexión en donde conocemos de verdad a los personajes principales.
This was probably my least favorite of the sinners of saints series. It was still a good book, and I really loved Vaughn. He had such great character development, and his personality was hilarious. Lenora seemed a little bratty to me. The whole thing was extremely frustrating because they just didn’t talk. The whole revenge plot also seemed a little out there. However, I think it was a great book to tie up the series, and I still look forward to anything else Shen puts out.
