Vicious and Emilia supremacy! Their appearance in this book made me so happy and I honestly cared more about them than the main characters in this book (but I still liked Vaughn and Lenora - watching them fall in love was cute).

A spectacular end to the series and for the Todos Santos universe. Much as I loved Daria, Knight, and Luna's stories, L.J. Shen truly saved the best for last with this one. Vaughn is everything. I liked Lenora from brief glimpses in Broken Knight, but I absolutely love her after reading this book. This couple is reminiscent of Emilia and Vicious yet so completely their own with a totally new story.
Loved this book. While it could be read as a standalone, I wholeheartedly suggest reading the entire series first. They are all great books and knowing some of the histories just adds to the epicness of this story.

ASH 3 ist das erste Buch, bei dem ich so unentschlossen bin, was die ⭐️ angeht. Gebe ich 3 ⭐️, wirkt es als wär das Buch irgendwie langweilig, es war aber auch nicht so schlecht, dass 1 ⭐️ passt und wiederum nicht auf die Art und Weise gut, dass 5 ⭐️ passen.
Die Charaktere waren wirklich gebrochen.
Die Handlungen hab ich teils echt mit Kopfschütteln betrachtet. Generell war die Stimmung einfach super düster und traurig. & dennoch war es irgendwie gut?
Ich mochte Lenora ganz gerne, obwohl entscheidende Dinge einfach zu viel waren (das mit dem Blut).
Vaughn hat das ganze Buch über so widersprüchliche Entscheidungen getroffen, dass ich wirklich nicht verstanden habe, wie es zu dem Ende gekommen ist. Erst beleidigt er Lenny andauernd, führt sie vor der ganzen Schule vor (+ öffentlichen sexuellen Handlungen???!!!) schenkt ihr dann aber jeden Tag Schokolade und ist doch irgendwie für sie da? I don’t get it.
Vor allem wird auch noch regelmäßig erwähnt, dass er ja keine Gefühle habe und wirklich nichts für Lenny empfindet…. Wieso dann das Ende?
