this book was kinda disappointing

honestly vaughn is like a 0/10 human and lenora is like a 2/10 human so i’m glad they ended up together so like no one else has to deal with them. this was still a good book i just do not fw the two of them hahahahahaha

I cried many times

I loved this book it was so amazing I
Still can’t believe I finished it I love Vaughn and Lenora so much there story was beautiful and dark you need to read it. !!

Epic conclusion to the ASH series... Saying goodbye is bittersweet...

I went into Angry God knowing I was going to have to say goodbye to my favorite friends from Todos Santos. I just didn’t realize how much more of my heart they were going to carve out to make room for themselves before they said goodbye. Throughout the first two tothole books, we get breadcrumbs of insight into Vaughn. We know that something has made him a little different than your average rich, pretentious asshole. He doesn’t buy into appearances and designer gear like Knight or even Hunter. He’s not friendly or approachable. He doesn’t even want to have a human experience. What we’ve all been speculating about is what occurred to make him that way... I’m here to attest that he’s not as heartless as he appears. His cracks just only appear for the girl who claimed his heart without ever realizing it. Lenny Astalis doesn’t know her own worth, and something Vaughn says in the latter half of the book really rings true. It’s their battles that help forge her spine throughout this story. She comes into her own, not with a show of fire and defiance, but with true grit, determination and fierceness. Once the battle lines are drawn, does one of them really have to lose for the other one to win? This is so many things. It’s a story of innocence lost, of mourning, of feeling hopeless and alone, of vengeance, and one of love. If for no other reason, you need to read this to see Vicious as the dad we always knew he would be. He never disappoints, and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

As with all L.J. Shen's books, I was all over the place emotionally. This book did not disappoint in any way. I loved it from the first word to the last. The angst, love and emotions of the characters could be felt throughout the book.

This is literally one of the worst books I have ever read in my life. I only finished it hoping it would get better but no such luck. It was just horrible and perpetuated horrible stereotypes. I gave it one star cause it’s the lowest it goes. If you’re curious, find it online. Not worth the money.

I cried.
