Married to a Pirate

if I had a nickel for every book I read where the main character ended up being a siren

I don’t even remember how it ended

this book started out very promising and then it went very quickly downhill. extremely fastpaced and chaotic. couldn’t really connect to any of the characters and everything was flat

A pirate’s life for me!
adventurous emotional mysterious reflective fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

I loved the story very much; however, I did not like the fact that the author white washed one of the one of the more powerful characters.

Cliche in the best ways

Perhaps my love of pirates makes me biased, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The sea, sword fights, and a rough rogue pirate?
Yes. Just yes.

i love a hot pirate but i didn’t love the way this was written. i think the additional pov of prince edward was unnecessary. it added another level that could have been pushed into his own book, which book two follows him more closely. it was too much to keep track of. i found i was skimming edward’s chapters because i didn’t care what he had to share through 3rd person pov.

Well…this is another KU read that I’m glad I didn’t pay money to read. I don’t know if it’s the writing style, or if this just needs a few rounds of editing but- not for me and I love almost all things pirates. Bummer. Also, the Captain being you know who is so obvious from the first chapter of the prince pov.
