A compelling novel overall, but the beginning gripped me a lot more than the end. The last few chapters felt rushed and dissatisfying for how much the characters had been through. Definitely brought some interesting thoughts to the table about what it means to be a mother though! Maybe I’m not ready for this type of content yet lol
