Oh, I am equally sad and happy. Sad because I can't believe we have come to the end of this amazing series, but then so happy to finally have Davey and Mack's HEA with all they have gone through.
Throughout the series, it's been mentioned that, even though they are now divorced, Davey and Mack still live together with Davey being away for work for two weeks then home for two weeks, though still working from home. Mack was shocked when Davey agreed to a divorce but then Davey was doing what he thought Mack needed to be happy.
This story is one of the biggest 'you need to communicate' cases, but then, as we go through the story you can understand better why things have happened a certain way and, perhaps, it will all work out for the best. It's rare we get a romance that has a couple coming back together in such a way and I love the way that Saxon has written their story. It's full of the love and care they still have for each other, and especially their children, but it also understands the need for them both to be their own person and not be so reliant on another.
I cannot recommend this and the series enough. It has been a brilliant read and definitely one I will come back to.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

This was good! The beginning was rough in the way that you KNOW that what the characters are doing is a bad idea and you just want to yell at them to get their heads out of their asses, but thankfully the character development is there! Deliciously angsty much of the time and hoo boy those spicy scenes are 🔥🔥🔥.

Honestly, this was beautiful. The ending of home within each other and how much and how far they have all grown.
Mack and Davey had both been hurt by each other and lack of communication just to figure out what each needed individually as well as a couple to make it whole.
Thank you so much for this beautiful series. I might be crying but I have loved this journey.

I have enjoyed this series so sad to see it done. I will say I was not expecting a second chance romance but it was refreshing. This is different since Mack and Davey were already married and divorced. Two years later they are now back under one roof and with some reflecting a plan for a second chance arises. My heart felt for both characters, more for Mack than Davey, but you really see the struggle that they both have. You have all the past characters from the other books that adds to the book. I love the banter amongst everyone that adds some comedy. I feel like I had a couple moments that I felt Davey lacked a bit but overall it was a good read and HEA

This is a beautiful, bittersweet end to the author’s 𝙳𝙸𝚅𝙾𝚁𝙲𝙴𝙳 𝙼𝙴𝙽’𝚂 𝙲𝙻𝚄𝙱 (#𝟼) series. I love this world and all of the characters so much.
This book was a bit different as it’s about a divorced couple still living together, raising their children. I wasn’t sure if I’d get the excited butterflies over a divorced couple…. I absolutely did.
Mack and Davey struggled with work/family time balance and it broke them up.
Near Christmas both characters are feeling the pull to towards each other strongly.
What follows is chaotic family time with toddlers, hilarious text messages with the “Divorced Men’s Club and enough wooing to make my heart pitter-patter with excitement.
The characters are so lovable, I found them so easy to root for. I wanted them to get their second chance.
It’s a fantastic story, it deals with some really interesting aspects of relationship dynamics and individual growth.
I was entertained and I was giddy throughout the story. I loved it and the characters so much.
The secondary characters all added so much heart, humor and community.
It’s a tender, unique romance that gave me all the feels.
I’m sad to say goodbye to this world, I highly recommend this book and the whole series!
