I’ve enjoyed getting to know the Divorced Men’s Club guys, the characters were full of personality and easy to like.  I’ve been interested in learning Davey and Mack’s story, the ex husbands who so clearly still love each other deeply.  The longing over what they lost is well done and really centers the story.  They are rather frustrating because they don’t talk or work together to try and fix their family- which did drag the plot for me.  I did love them together though.  The moments where real reconciliation happens are beautifully written, highlighting how lovely the connection between Davey and Mack is.  The DMC was my favorite throughout the series and I loved the guy’s unique brand of support and snark.  I especially loved the DMC chats, where you really see the author’s humor shine.  A lovely ending for Mack and Davey and the DMC.

We get to the end of the series and it could all be tears, but Saxon manages to make us laugh out loud with this book. While we have the angst that is to be expected in a second chance, the situations that Mack and Davey go through in this story are hilarious.
Two people who love each other so much and just need to find a way to build a strong, happy relationship where they can grow as individuals and as a couple.
It's so lovely to see everyone in the club making an appearance, adding a lovely comedic touch, but at the same time always accompanying their friends.
It was the perfect ending to a series I absolutely loved, and I'll always have a special place in my heart for its characters.
