"It's in His Kiss" by Julia Quinn, a regency romance novel, weaves a captivating tale with a touch of humor and intrigue. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century England, the book expertly employs the enemies-to-lovers trope, adding depth to the relationship between the protagonists. Quinn's meticulous attention to historical details enriches the narrative, while the witty dialogue and well-developed characters make it a delightful read for fans of historical romance. The story unfolds with a perfect blend of passion, scandal, and charm, keeping readers eagerly turning the pages until the very end.
Every single Bridgerton book has the exact same relationship dynamics and plot, the only difference is that you can maybe use different punctuation at the end of each book’s description (this one would be an exclamation point, or maybe a starry-eyes emoji hmm)
Anyway, these books are getting increasingly more boring and I’m very excited to only have one left to read also when is the next season of the show coming out because I need it right now
2.5/5 (this series is the rare occasion where the show/movie is fully 100% better than the books)

Oh I liked this one a lot more. I think we needed that mystery/drama element to it as I think as a collective we’re all pretty sick of women swooning and having an orgasm at the fucking squeeze of a tit.
One more to go… this has been tiresome.
