I picked this up because of the climate change aspect, but I was skeptical because I didn’t think sci-fi books were for me. This book surprised me, and I absolutely loved it. It explored a bunch of different themes, and while I didn’t think the story was perfect, I was completely engaged in the story and characters. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the author :)

I liked the concept of this more than the execution. Parts of it felt more detailed than necessary and others were very hand wavy, even though some of those parts seemed important. There were also inconsistencies with ages and time that I had a hard time with.
