I cannot believe it took me this long to pick up Thousand Autumns, but I’m glad this wasn’t one of the first few danmei I read because I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed it as much as I am enjoying it now. Definitely not a danmei for someone who doesn’t have experience with this genre, but I’d highly recommend it for anyone who’s read a few danmei before.
It started slow but once I got about a third of the way in, it really started picking up and I could NOT put it down. Can’t wait to read the next one!

I'd enjoy a bit more detail on the excursions. All those he is from this sect and that sect just sounds like a list. I'm glad we have a glossary, but so far the author easily picked up the character that was name dropped, when they became relevant, so it's fine...

More in depth description, elaboration, inner workings of Shen Qiao and of Yan Wushi. Doesn't matter if they are in the same space or not.
But I really enjoy that the pov is not limited to Shen or Yan.
