Bill Watterson just got better and better. It's so disappointing that he quit writing. At least the ones that he put out are still awesome.

A charming little book which is very entertaining, excellently written and drawn. This is a great place to start if you're interested in Calvin and Hobbes

The quality of Calvin and Hobbes never wavered. Not while it was being created, and it has aged like fine wine. These middle chronicles only prove my point.
