I could not believe how fast I flew through this book. I'm not a slow reader but this really set new records for me. I devoured this book fully and truly and it absolutely broke me in all new ways. I loved it so much and cannot wait to dive into book 2!

Could barely put it down. I had to buy the audio book for the second book so I could multitask and continue on with the story line.
It's definitely foreshadowed that Hawk's character is a someone to be wary of. After all of the suspicious things like her guards being killed on 2 occasions, him rising extremely quickly, among other things, I knew something was up. I'm super excited to see what the next book has in store.
