pretty good for my first ms marple book. a little slow at the beginning but it picks up the pace after the murder. the solution was pretty inventive, and ms marple's not actually in the book as much but she seems pretty cool for a protagonist, i look forward to reading more of this series.

This might be my favourite full length marple so far which surprises me a little bit since it’s published in the 60s which i don’t  really consider one of her best decades in terms of writing. I also read this book on a trip to europe and in torquay so the atmosphere was superb. Also pretty crazy I just learned the story was based off of Gene Tierney who I loved in Laura.
