Not the complete train wreck it was made out to be, but not great either. The art bumps it from 2 stars to 3.

GDI Carol why do you always have to be on the wrong side.

Like I thought she'd stand down halfway through this event but nope nothing got through to her.

If they were gonna make merchandise of this event, they should so do a Captain Marvel doll where you pull the string and she yells "YOU'RE UNDER ARREST". Really, was there anyone she didn't try to preemptively jail?

*Informercial voice* If you thought Civil War was bad, wait till you read this!

The teams don't even make sense. Besides Iron Man and Captain Marvel whose perspectives were explored and fleshed out, no one really had any reason why they picked either side. With the X-Men especially (cos I don't follow the other teams), they just chucked an entire team on each side rather than exploring why each individual would support the ideology. At least the first Civil War tackled an issue that hit home for everyone and so the side they backed made sense to them and the reader.

I really don't understand the conflict here, or Tony's immediate opposition to Ulysses. You don't have to arrest people just based on his visions (which I've seen some reviews compare to profiling). You can just use his foreknowledge to wait at the scene of the crime and stop it just before it happens. Which is exactly what happens when the heroes stop the mysterious world-ending threat (I think it's some kind of Celestial?) and Thanos. I don't see any difference between that and standard intelligence gathering. I was also extremely confused by Tony's anger at War Machine's death. Wouldn't the heroes have tried to confront Thanos even if Ulysses didn't warn them? Frankly the attempted ambush seemed like the best possible plan. Eventually Carol wants to just start arresting people before they even get close to committing crimes, which is just silly. With both sides being so idiotic, I checked out of the series pretty quickly.

I just don't know how you root for Tony Stark. This thing is just constant escalation and I wonder if it's going to pause at any point so the characters-particularly Carol-can assess what's going on and what's happened.

Oh Dios, hasta croe que fue peor que la primera Civil War... Un final abierto, apresurado y predecible. Las Civil War nunca son buena idea, just saying.
