I've found me a new author and I couldn't be happier!

This had been sat on my kindle for well over 2 years, at some point I'd picked it up as a freebie. I'm not sure why this caught my eye over all the hundreds of other books on there, but it did. What I do know is that it didn't take long for me to be totally hooked on Kenna and Griffin's story.

Second chance seems to be a trope I can't resist, so this already had an advantage, but it doesn't automatically guarantee a books success for me. Something about this just spoke to me and touched my heart - I even shed a tear or two at this one. It was refreshing that the split wasn't the result of a stupid misunderstanding, nor was it a big secret that was kept for half the book. Griffin fully owned the mistake he made and then realised a few weeks too late.

Several different topics were covered in this, though most of them tied back to Kenna's loss and the guilt she felt as a survivor. I really liked that there was no being "cured" of her problems by love, though she, andGriffin both underwent personal growth through the book. Whilst I liked Griffin, especially as he wasn't too arrogant or overbearing and he was very caring and solicitous of Kenna, she was the character who held my attention and made me fall in love with this book. Her story was touching and the journey she takes captured my heart.

The BDSM aspects focus mainly around bondage and suspension with ropes, and the scenes were all private. There were also some "D/s" sex scenes, where there were no toys used but there was a power exchange involved. I found them well written and hot. I would recommend the book to those who enjoy BDSM romances and I will read more work by the author.

I first read this book about six years ago and I'm really glad I opened it back up and took the time to reknow the characters.

Blasphemy, a BDSM club, is run by 12 Masters and each one, so far, appears to have their own specialized kink. I appreciate the detail that Laura puts into each Dom and what exactly drives their passion. It makes the book exciting and different to read than what continually churns through the BDSM world.

Kenna and Griffin's story is a second chance romance that also adds a military flare as well. Kenna is a discharged marine with a prosthetic arm and Griffin's kink involves rope, so this was quite a twist when it comes to tying up a submissive.

I loved the emotional aspect and certainly the pain involved in healing forgiving a lost love. I'm really looking forward to diving back into the others as well.

FI volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I could get enough of Bound to Submit. LOVED IT!!!! SO HOT!!!!! SO SWEET!!! So many swoon moments. I already pre-ordered because I need the real thing—-it was soooooo good. I need to figure out away to get a signed copy. I need to be able to hold it. The book touched my heart. I cried. I laughed, I wished I was there.
When I think Sex Club, the word beautiful isn’t what comes to mind. When I think BDSM, I don’t think love. Yet, beautiful and love, are the words that I most associate with Bound to Submit, book 1 in the Blasphemy series. I have to admit I am a sucker for second chance romance, which is another reason that Bound to Submit totally rocked. Who knew reading about knot tying could be so hot??? Not me—just call me clueless.
Master Griffin lost Kenna five years ago when he couldn’t commit. By the time he realized his mistake, it was too late. She was no where to be found. She was just gone.
Kenna returns home and to Blasphemy in hopes of finding peace. She is no longer whole in heart, head, or body. She remembers the power Master Griffin had over her while practicing the Art of Shibari. If he could help her find peace, to find a state of calm, then she could leave love at the door.
From the tying of the first not it was hot. The emotion came through the pages. Goosebumps formed at the relief Kenna found. Each knot brought more love, more acceptance, just more. Heck, I was ready to find a master to learn more.
The book had me tied in knots. I wanted them to succeed as a couple. I wanted Griffin to pay for past mistakes. I wanted Kenna to find strength. I wanted Kenna to allow love in. Griffin better grovel. Kenna needs and deserves it.

I loved this BDSM erotic romance! The storyline here dealt with a lot of heavy themes, but it was masterfully done by the author and balanced with the spicy scenes.

This was a wonderful book in Laura Kaye's new series. She is a talented writer that took a topic that is not easy to write well. She did a phenomenal job. I loved Griffin and Kenna as a couple. They were off the charts hot together. They also had history as a couple and I love second chance romances . Laura Kaye has created a great new piece of her ongoing world with the Hard Ink and Raven motorcycle club . I would love if she did a crossover with some of the other couples from the other series and had them visit the club.

It is no secret that I am huge fan of Laura Kaye. The depth of the emotions she is able to bring to the page always gets to me in a way that I amazed and floored all in one. Opening a Laura Kaye book is more than reading a story, it’s an experience. With that said, Bound to Submit just became my favorite Laura Kaye book to date.

Kenna is very lost in the world at this moment. A Marine turned motivational speaker after an accident that took her arm and a dear friend. Kenya is plagued with physical and emotional pain that leaves her soul searching for who she truly is. Buried needs begin to surface, causing a revelation within Kenna. A woman who has been broken but can be fixed. A woman who has survived. A woman with wants and needs. Kenna is my favorite lead lady Ms. Kaye has written.
Griffin is a Master and co-owner of Blasphemy. A total alpha, beyond great with his hands and sexy as sin. Years ago, he and Kenna developed a bond through bondage. She wanted more than he was willing to give, and walked away. A mistake most men make, not realizing what they have until it’s gone, Griffin have never forgotten or stopped wishing for his little one to walk back in his life. OMG, if I had to pick a Dom, Griffin would be it hands down.

Bound to Submit is beautiful intense, unique and emotionally satisfying. I will not lie, this book is an emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. The chemistry created by Kenna and Griffin is pure magic. The beauty of their bondage is breathtaking. It’s art, passion and healing all in one. BDSM is more than what’s on the surface, as Kenna and Griffin proudly show what a deep bond between two people can do or be. Yes, the book is incredible hot as well.
Ms. Kaye created something special that I can’t begin to describe with Bound to Submit.

I enjoyed this book but there were a couple of plot points that annoyed me. At the beginning to the book Kenna has been mentioned in a rather large newspaper story so how did Griffin not know she was back in town. Even if he hadn't seen the article I am sure that one of his partners would have seen it and mentioned it to him seeing as they all knew he had feelings for Kenna. I did like Kenna and Griffin's second chance story. They are great together and I loved how much Griffin wanted to look after Kenna, not just because he felt it was all his fault but because he truly loved her and wanted her to know she was loved.

I found that Bound to Submit was a gripping story. Kenna and Griffin had a convoluted history, but when they were together, things were crackling with chemistry. This story hooked me in from the beginning and kept me drawn in until the very end. Kenna wasn't the stereotypical sub. She was strong and a former Marine who lost her arm serving her country. Griffin was a strong Dom who screwed up when faced with falling for Kenna, so he was so grateful when she returned to his life. This story wasn't always easy to read because of the emotions it evoked and some of the tough subjects it touched on, but I did love this book and definitely recommend reading it. It gets a solid 4.5 stars from me and I look forward to more from this series.

A second chance romance by Laura Kaye? Sign me up!

I must admit that I am impressed by how wonderfully Laura Kaye wrote Kenna and Griffin and also the past relationship between the two, the aftermath, and the demons that they struggle with in the present. And the whole BDSM. I am always nervous about reading these books because sometimes it seems more about how crazy the scene can get instead of drive to serve and please that a sub/Dom are supposed to have with each other. But Kaye did a wonderful job writing the scenes of Kenna and Griffin together as well as pulling in their romantic interest of each other.

Kenna was a badass former Marine who seeks out a membership to Blasphemy again in hopes to see Griffin but also so that she can clear her mind of the guilt that she holds. Her struggles after coming home from serving were realistic and well written. Griffin’s guilt of letting Kenna go five years ago and his determination to keep her now made him oh, so sexy. Well, everything made Griffin sexy.

I look forward to reading the other master’s stories in this series. This is the second book in the series and Kaye has done a wonderful job thus far.
