The characters are difficult personalities, interacting in an ambiguous environment that makes the reader think about what is truly going on. It's amazing, a light novel, but not the best of sherlock holmes must I say, sadly.

I usually make my reviews much nicer in format and intention, but honestly? I can’t be bothered. I found this book to be horribly dry and boring. I did like the very beginning, and the single chapter where action occurred. It didn’t help that Sherlock isn’t even in likely 60-70% of this book. The rest, I really struggled to focus. Also, the culprit was pretty obvious from nearly their introduction, so then it was just waiting for it to unfold. These foundational mysteries are not for me, but as I am taking a course on mysteries, I fear I will read more. Please mourn my average rating with me.

got ‘sound of the underground’ by girls aloud stuck in my head obviously changing the lyrics to ‘the hound of the baskervilles’

Piacevolissimo racconto su un caso di Sherlock Holmes.

Si legge con piacere, lo trovo particolarmente adatto per delle serate piovose, che senza dubbio aiutano ad immergersi nelle atmosfere gotiche e nebbiose della campagna inglese! consigliatissimo!

I've read a few of these short stories now so was able to guess one or two of the twist, although that didn't take away from the enjoyment of the story.

This one is better from a study in scarlet and the sign of four. Although Sherlock Holmes is a very amazing detective series .
