Definitely a book I would recommend. I figured out what was going to happen pretty early on but still wanted to finish the book. I enjoyed Gabe, Elyse and Catherine but Sasha was a miss for me especially after the second half of the book. Some of her actions were a little unbelievable. There was also a bit of insta-love but overall a solid read with some nice twists.
I would check out more from Jennifer Donaldson.

I was sorely disappointed by this book. I had very high hopes for it, but I was let down. The only time I had any enjoyment of this book was in the last 50 pages, and even then, I wasn't really enjoying it very much.
Things I didn't like:
-instalove to the max
-alternating perspectives that took away from connection to characters
-Snapchat usage (it wasn't correct?!) and other little inconsistencies
-lack of character depth/arcs/relationships
-poorly done, in-your-face Romeo + Juliet parallel
-most of the characters
The characters I liked were only Vivi, Irene, and Caleb. I had neutral feelings about Elyse and Gabe, but other than that I disliked most everyone else. They just weren't well done characters for me.

I often remember the ABC After School Special (late 70s) about the 13 year old girl who got herself involved with her guitar teacher. She lied about her age, and when he wanted to take it further she revealed her age and he broke it off. I identified with her, wanting to be more adult than she/I was, beginning to experience puberty in a home she/I wanted to escape from.
This is not that, more like one of those after school specials combined with a lifetime movie of the 90s. Like, more gritty, and more innocence plundered. In this case, the man knew she was underage and targeted her.
And the writing is so crisp and authentic I didn't want to stop listening. Would Elise wake up to this man being a predator, not a lover? Would her male counterpart Gabe get free from his predatory stalking ex-girlfriend unscathed? Would they be heartbroken? Would they survive?

This book was amazing! Not sure how I stumbled upon this book. I had it on my queue for a while now and thought okay lets give it a try. I didn't realize this was a YA book. And the ending completely blew me away. In fact, I think I will go back and reread it just to make sure I got it completely.
The story was told from 2 different characters. The whole book, I kept thinking how does this tie together. I am still confused on the ending (hence the re-reading). Either way, it is was great book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an easy read that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

truly, a good read! I liked the double story line and the twists and turns at every page. Ending was a bit rushed, but still liked the novel as a whole.
