¿Es un relato pequeño? Sí. ¿Toca muchos temas?

All kinds of good things in this book, especially after the story ends. Thanks be to libraries and the time to browse for things I didn't mean to pick up off the shelves.

The short story "The Wild Girls" was heartbreaking. The poems were good, too. The essays (one about literacy and the profit motive in publishing, the other about modesty) were not interesting to me. The interview was pleasantly amusing, but not substantive.

Always a joy to read something from Ms. LeGuin I've not read before. She has such a delicate voice that one doesn't expect the passion or violence before it strikes. This volume also includes some prose, poetry, and interviews. A slim volume but rich.
