Oh my heart, this book was truly wonderful! I absolutely adore the relationship between Grant and Declan and I’m rooting for them so hard. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings for them!

Well. Ok. Hot but cheesy and ends in the middle of a sentence. I know there’s a market for this, but it’s not me.

Absolutely masterful. The characterisation was exquisite. The realistic approach to love and sex was incredibly refreshing to see. The plot was simplistic but not in a way that felt lacking — more so, it was everything it needed to be from start to finish: uncomplicated, timeless, and perfectly paced. The tenderness between the pages and the characters on them was achingly sweet, but not saccharine. It was sexy, and thrilling, and full of heart. A joy to read.

Grant and Declan 😍😍
Damn Lauren Blakey has to be my favorite contemporary romance author because every book I read I think I’ve found my new favorite couple. Plus she has some of the best audio books. Something about two boys falling in love does it for me and I’m complete mush.
These two are so great together and their chemistry is fire! I was there through every emotion. The cliff hanger at the end killed me and I had to know what was in store for them right away.
Thank you LB for continuing to write the best and spiciest romance novels for hopeless romantics like me! Also I need a baseball man now😉

okay I’ll give it 4 stars I GUESS.

This was a weird one. It took me awhile to really get into it. The language, the dialogue, felt so clinical until probably the last 25% where it really got me. The angst and the heat were turned up to the max.

And then there was this very weird pro-condom line that just completely threw me. “Safe sex is the hottest thing ever.” WHAT? Like, obviously it was made aware that condoms were being used and that’s fine. But to blatantly say it that way? It just cracks me up!

But I’m definitely excited for the next novel!
