a  Ms Robinson x One Direction plot line -  s3x is most of the plot, mostly gratuitous.  Not a HEA

what do you get when one character cares too much about what others think, while the other doesn’t care at all?? A slightly insufferable story that has you rolling your eyes throughout the entirety of the book and questioning your sanity more times than you care to admit. I had pretty high expectations going into this one and i’m sad to say that it disappointed me. For me, this was unfortunately one of those rare times where the movie was better than the book :(

I went in expecting a light fun read, and instead I got passion and vulnerability. There were discussions of what it means to be a woman and especially what it means to be a woman after a certain age. The invisibility, the assumption that there is a lack of desire, and the idea that older women must fit into a certain role regardless if she wanted to be or not. And the chemistry between the two MC's. Oh man. Dat chemistry. I was wrecked by the end. 5+ stars.

yikes, i wish i could scrub this book from my brain.
hoping the movie is better than the book, cause the only reason i read this hot garbage was because anne hathaway was looking too good in that trailer

*Disclaimer: I watched the movie first before reading the book*

One thing is for sure: this book destroyed me — beautifully well written, we follow gallerist Solène Marchand and popstar boy-bander Hayes Campbell in their whirlwind romance as they try to find a balance between their love (and their age gap) and handling being in the spotlight.

I knew this was going to hurt, but reading this made me feel anxious, happy, giddy and sad… I won’t say more, but please give this book a read.

3.5 ⭐️. shockingly decent smutty 1D fan fic. well-written and beautifully narrated by the author — def recommend this as an audiobook. felt overly self-indulgent by the end & about an hour or two too long. overall, would recommend to people who are interested in celeb culture.

Good beach read. Not overly complicated and entertaining. I did not like how there was no timeline to follow. I honestly don't know if their relationship was 2 months or 5 years. Would've made a difference on interpreting the end. It was also fairly unrealistic in every sense but I suppose that is was made it fun.
