Characters read like a YA novel (Trinity is a bit immature) but there is moderately graphic sex, and quite a bit of it.mirandahedvik's review

I really enjoyed Trinity and Zayne's storyline, romantically and the overarching plot. I find JLAs writing so gripping and easy to read so this Trilogy did not disappoint. I think I may have enjoyed it more than the original Dark Elements Trilogy!
It was predictable at times but still a good read, with the happily ever after you know you'll get with JLA.
I especially loved the RP representation mirroring Armentrout's own struggles with the disease - it was so well done and gave us an insight of what she herself is going through. I like how it was dealt with with Trinity, constantly there but not defining of her.
Moderate: Sexual content

I really loved how involved Cayman was in this book. He’s a mess, but I love him. The Peanut storyline was expected. I’d decided early on that was going to happen and it did.
A new character we are introduced to is Lucifer! Lucifer is portrayed basically as Lucifer from Supernatural, no shocker there. But I still enjoyed it, and I would 100% read a book about him!!
There were some plot points I didn’t really like. Specifically,
I liked the conclusion of the Harbinger storyline. It did seem somewhat like JLA left it open enough that there may be more books or another series somewhere in this world, but I’m not sure. Overall, it was a satisfying conclusion to Trin and Zayne’s story, and I was sad to let them go!
