This book did not keep my attention, and I struggled with it generally. Despite this being the 3 book in the series, I really didn't find myself rooting for the characters. The side characters are the only ones I sincerely liked. I also struggled with the fact that this reads like a YA fantasy, but isn't really YA content. There was a disconnect there, and I think I was hoping for more substance. I was so excited to sltey sowmtbing by this author, but this series was a let down...

I can forgive the angel smut, satan binge watching Supernatural, and even the repetitive dialogue (seriously, say “raised the tiny hairs on my body” one more time) but I will never recover from what you did to peanut. How dare you, Jennifer. How dare you.

Grace & Glory was a great end to the Harbinger trilogy!
I really enjoyed Trinity and Zayne's storyline, romantically and the overarching plot. I find JLAs writing so gripping and easy to read so this Trilogy did not disappoint. I think I may have enjoyed it more than the original Dark Elements Trilogy!
It was predictable at times but still a good read, with the happily ever after you know you'll get with JLA.
I especially loved the RP representation mirroring Armentrout's own struggles with the disease - it was so well done and gave us an insight of what she herself is going through. I like how it was dealt with with Trinity, constantly there but not defining of her.

The last book ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, and things immediately pick up where they were left off. Zayne is shown as someone Trinity, the Wardens, the angels, and even the demons count on. I think this is most obvious here in the final book! I really enjoyed how JLA portrayed this new dynamic. It was interesting to see Trin give in to her feelings and do whatever was necessary for Zayne.

I really loved how involved Cayman was in this book. He’s a mess, but I love him. The Peanut storyline was expected. I’d decided early on that was going to happen and it did.

A new character we are introduced to is Lucifer! Lucifer is portrayed basically as Lucifer from Supernatural, no shocker there. But I still enjoyed it, and I would 100% read a book about him!!

There were some plot points I didn’t really like. Specifically,
the entire pregnancy thing. Is she pregnant? Can they even have babies? Spoiler alert: she is not pregnant, but can have kids. But what was the point of introducing that storyline? It felt unnecessary really, unless there are plans to write more books about Trin and Zayne?? Not gonna lie, if JLA decided to go that route of them having babies, I’d read it!! I think that would be such an interesting dynamic to see play out!

I liked the conclusion of the Harbinger storyline. It did seem somewhat like JLA left it open enough that there may be more books or another series somewhere in this world, but I’m not sure. Overall, it was a satisfying conclusion to Trin and Zayne’s story, and I was sad to let them go!
