This was by far my absolute favorite book in the entire series! The plot twist is insane! We find out that Spencer's father, cheated on Spencer's mother with Mrs. DiLaurentis and that Alison has a twin sister Courtney. We discover that Alison, Courtney, Spencer, and Melissa all share the same father. Courtney really had me convinced in this story that she was Alison and that she really wanted her friends back. But the plot twist was absolutely amazing and I loved it! I also loved that it took the Real Ali to finally bring these girls closer together.

So far, I think this has been the most intense of the Pretty Little Liars books. So many things were revealed at the end of this book. Just like at the end of the 4th book, I wonder how Sara Shepard will be able to continue the plot, without making it too drawn out. Loved this book!

This was one of the best books yet. There were so many plot twists it was crazy. I can't believe what happened to the girls. I can't wait to move on to the next book.

So about a quarter into this book something happened that made me throw my hands in the air and say, "This has to be the stupidest thing I've ever read." Seriously, it was the most ridiculous, over-the-top plot twist ever. For the rest of the book I thought I knew exactly what was going to happen...and I was SO wrong. The final twist at the end was so crazy that there was no way I could have predicted it, and I. LOVED. IT. I really wish that Shepard would not have gotten greedy and continued the series, because this really was an excellent end. Everything was nicely wrapped up and while sure she left it open to continue, I would be perfectly fine with the ending as is, kind of like how in the first season of Buffy, episodes would end cliffhanger-y, and then nothing would come of it (mantis eggs in the closest, invisible assassins, etc.) I will eventually continue the series, but not any time soon. For now, I want to enjoy what should have been the end of the series.

This arc definitely wasn't as riveting and intriguing as the last one. Everything happened really quickly at the end and it was fairly predictable.

The story in this book seemed rushed but could have been spread out over the last three as well.

One of the most exciting books I've read in the series, definitely
