Did anyone else read the acknowledgements and get confused? Why did she start the series back up? This was a really great ending. I really do like the TV show better.
What in the world. Ali had a twin Courtney, who actually pretended to be Ali and then Ali killed her for it and Ali was A because she was mad at Courtney. My head hurts, but kudos because I never would have guessed that!
All I can say is one thing -- amazing. A lot of times you're disppointed when you read the last book of a series because their too predictable or seemed rushed. For Wanted, that's not the case AT ALL. The Pretty Little Liar series has kept me reading hungrily till the very last book. Filled with suspense, drama, and slight chills, the series is one of the best. I can happily say that this book was just as good as the rest; in fact, I think it's my favorite one. Wanted is full of shocks -- especially the amazing ending, which I don't think ANYBODY could've seen coming. The only reason you'll be sad is because the series is over. 3

What a finale. I had my suspicions about CourtnAli. At first I thought it was Ali. Then when she revealed the story of Courtney pretending to be Ali, I thought it actually was Courtney. But man oh man, I did not expect it to be Ali, and the Ali we knew from the past to be Courtney. In all honesty this now feels like that bit from 'Friends': They don't know that we know they know we know... Let's just say CourtnAli was a bit unhinged. I quite like the ending to be honest. I thought it was well written, fast paced, and tense. A part of me wishes one of the 4 would have died. I don't know, I think it would have been interesting and unexpected. That kind of took away from the suspense - I knew all 4 of them would survive.
Anyway, I think this is all wrapped up quite nicely. Apart from that ending sentence. That was unnecessary. I could have written that in Year 2.

So this book was published in 2010 and appeared to at the time be the end of the series. I know that there are books in the series that come after, so I will be interested to see how those go. The end twist was slightly different than what I expected based on my memories of reading a synopsis. Courtney was actually Ali, whereas I had thought it was Courtney pretending to be Ali. Of course the girls' Ali was Courtney so. It's a little convoluted.
Overall I was satisfied with the end of the series. It actually was much darker than I expected overall and had some pretty intense scenes. Really appreciated the wrap up at the end with each character, and the epilogue was a nice little "what if?". Not sure when or if I'll read the rest of the series, but I think I will take a short break from them for now.
