Oh no....this was supposed to be the final one???? I wish I knew that before I bought the second half set. Time to live my PLL TV show villain reveal tragedy all over again.
The twist here was significantly better than the TV show but I'm dreading another like 12 hours of what I can only assume will be a time jump nightmare. I spent real money on these bc rightfully the Oakland library doesn't carry the second half of the series so now guilt and shame will force me to see this through. Can only assume I'm being divinely punished for something--perhaps watching, reading, and enjoying PLL at age 29.

This book was so good! I cannot believe how this story went! It was amazing, I really don't know how the next book (Twisted) will top this book but hopefully it does because I'm obviously reading it!
I recommend this book for those of you who like The Lying Game, Pretty Little Liars (books OR show!), or any suspense book.

This series is very, very poorly written. There are numerous inconsistencies, not just from book to book, but from chapter to chapter. The plot is inconceivable, at best. It's not a series I'd recommend to anyone. Given the age of the characters featured in the books, I would assume it was targeted at 16/17 year olds, but the sophistication of writing is more like something you would find in a book targeted towards 10/11 year olds.
One of the better books of the series. The ending was a little predicatable, but not entirely. I love that Sara Shepard wrapped it all up nicely yet left a little room for another book (which comes out next summer). I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
