Revisiting Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" has been a delightful journey, from my initial encounter as a teenager to my recent reading in my twenties. Austen's unparalleled storytelling and mastery of the English language have only grown more impressive with time. Her ability to intricately explore human relationships and societal norms, with finely crafted characters and subtle humor, remains timeless.

first classic i've ever read and i'm absolutely in love. it's definitely made me want to read more jane austen novels alongside other classics.
the story of pride and prejudice is just beautiful, the language at first was hard to understand, but after reading on i gained more understanding and fell in love with the characters and the story.

not a big fan of this kind of literature but i'm fascinated with jane austen's writing
i had read sense and sensibility in the past and the exact same thing popped in my mind all the time: a room of one's own by virginia woolf, and specially when she wrote: "here was a woman about the year 1800 writing without hate, without bitterness, without fear, without protest, without preaching. that was how shakespeare wrote"
i can't make sense of the idea of a woman sitting in a room full of people, having to hide what she's doing, deprived of alone time, creating such a book. it's perfect

i absolutely loved it! i’ve been wanting to watch the show and movie adaptions for quite a while now so i will finally be able to indulge myself :]
the scenes between darcy and elizabeth were incredibly delightful to read and made me crave more. if i were to make one wish, it would be to include even more of said interactions.
i’m wondering if anyone has written this story from darcy’s perspective, and if so, i would love to check it out one day.
oh, the yearning…you can't go wrong with some historical slow burn...
