A good set up for the rest of the series. I’m not used to reading short story format and it does bother me slightly that the short stories aren’t directly or obviously connected, but I think I will appreciate it in the long run once I’ve read through the rest of the series.
Enjoyed the backstory of Geralt and Yen. My only exposure to this world is through the Netflix series so I am keen once I’ve read the series to discuss with other fans who have come from different introduction to the Witcher world.

About 30% in I remembered why I didn't finish this the first time around 10 years ago. I don't care if it was Poland 20 years ago, I don't like the way this author treats/portrays women. The end.
Es un libro entretenido en general, con una excelente mitología, grandes escenas de batalla y un protagonista llamativo, sin embargo es imposible no notar que el autor tiene algunos problemas a la hora de las descripciones, de los diálogos y en la forma de contar la historia.
