adventurous funny hopeful inspiring lighthearted relaxing fast-paced

I didn't expect to laugh and even cry at an Ito manga, but here I am. Personally found this more impactful than any of his known horror works, Junji Ito has better comedic timing and humorous illustration than a thrilling and unsettling depiction of horror. There's always a missing emotional attachment when I get to his horror works, except for Gyo that shit actually scared me personally. But this lighthearted semi-non fictional about his cats and his wife was such a treat and reading the bonus chapter about Yon made me sad, it gave the manga a more in depth purpose as it felt like it was dedicated to Yon in the end.
